Crema is proud to announce that late last month we received Practical Completion for a 40-story hotel at 399 Little Lonsdale Street β Project Fabric, designed by K2LD Architects for Well Smart Group.
The project consists of 485 hotels rooms (213 for Novotel 4 star, 270 for IBIS 3 star), a commercial kitchen, show kitchen, gourmet bar, cafΓ©, gym and meeting/ conference rooms.
399 Little Lonsdale St has been a great project and one that has demonstrated the strength of our vertically integrated model across construction, structure, precast and concrete.
The teams at Crema Constructions, SG Formwork, Cambar, and Piave have all played a huge role in us reaching practical competition a significant 10 weeks ahead of schedule.
Crema would like to take this time to thank the entire team for their tireless work on this project

We believe in the value of using our high profile construction sites as a platform to showcase Australian artistic talent. Recently, we revealed our third Gallery In The Sky at 399 Little Lonsdale Street – a collaboration between artist Ray Traplin, charity The Torch and builder Crema Constructions. As this structure rises to 39 levels above ground, Ray’s artwork will rise with it, giving Melbourne something special to look at. We hope you enjoy this brilliant piece of artwork as much as we do! . πΉ @northsouthpictures

Yesterday Crema was proud to host the Young Builders Association (YBA) at Nest at the Hill. An initiative developed by the Australian Institute of Building, this program provides a platform for students and graduates of the construction industry to start their careers through a wide range of seminars and site visits. Crema’s Construction Manager Khalid Mahmood and the Nest team took the students through the unique challenges and opportunities of this construction site. The students learnt about the strategies used by Crema’s construction team to manage time, cost and quality on a large multi residential 260-apartment building. We look forward to hosting the next site visit with the future builders of Melbourne!
